We offer a dual role:

 

The Smart Sourcing Lead is responsible for driving the strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. This role will focus on optimizing supplier and contract management, reducing costs, and improving the quality and efficiency of procurement processes working with the Global Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and procurement.

 

The Global Capability Center role steers decision making in case of conflict or required involvement of management with the outsourcing company chosen by IT department. It ensures an effective management of the provider and all sourcing strategy based on term of the Agreement, incl. responsibility for achieving the related sourcing objectives (contract management, financial, governance, service delivery, performance). The role also includes helping global management with local Bulgarian requirements.

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

 

1. Strategic Sourcing:

  • Manage the overall relationship with the provider for the large and specific outsourcing contract, including term of the Agreement (financial, governance, resources, performance, quality, service integration, KPIs, etc…).
  • Ensure appropriate steering processes.
  • Resolve escalated issues in accordance with the Contract Steering.
  • Manage any local (Bulgaria) matters related to staff.
  • Work hand in hand with other departments to ensure the right level of service (internal and external).

 

2. Global Capability Center:

  • Manage and mentor a team of sourcing professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration

  • Ensure sourcing practices comply with company’s governance standards.
  • Promote sustainable procurement practices and support corporate initiatives.

 

4. Sustainability and Compliance:

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.

 

5. Cost Optimization:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless implementation of procurement processes

 

6. Supplier Management:

  • Analyze data, supplier performance, and market trends.
  • Implement dashboards and reports to provide support decision-making.

 

7. Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Implement strategies that align with IT and the company's business objectives.
  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

 

  • Previous experience in Smart Sourcing, Procurement - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management.
  • Previous experience in steering a Capability Center, outsourcing onshore / offshore, organization reshaping - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management.
  • International experience (Group / Regional function)  Strategic and tactical thinking, and really hands-on at the same time
  • Management of Teams 
  • Excellent fluency in English
  • IT or Business Background, Master Level (or respective experience with proven education along the way) 
  • Proven experience in managing IT operations and teams in a global context.
  • Strong understanding of vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
