The IT Portfolio Management Lead ensures continuous transparency & value-driven prioritization of the GIT Change Portfolio (Project Candidates, Projects) in alignment with dormakaba’s business and IT strategy through orchestrating the GIT (Global IT) Change Portfolio management process and portfolio reviews.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Define the GIT Change Portfolio Management setup and governance
- Team setup – define the Portfolio management team members and bring them on board (direct ones, involved ones)
- Communication – ensure the PM concept is understood and anchored in the organization
- Concept operationalization – define data & reporting requirements, portfolio review processes, meeting cycles
- Run Portfolio Management operations - Oversee portfolio on Project Candidate and Project level and drive portfolio decisions
- Create alignment through a structured, continuous collaboration between business and IT via monthly and quarterly portfolio reviews
- Ensure transparency over the project portfolio (timelines, budgets, resources, risks)
- Drive a value-based prioritization for maximized benefits to dk, considering impact on sales growth, cost reductions, risk reductions and EBITDA impact
- Create clarity on “what is in – what is out” in defined periods
- Drive conflict & escalation management
- Support the continuous improvement of the concept and processes of GIT portfolio management as per business requirements (processes, process adherence, data quality)
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Management capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility
- Experience in business/industry in leading cross-functional teams or projects and capability of influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
- 5 or more years experience in IT Portfolio Management with a track record of successfully achieving portfolio alignment, ideally in the Manufacturing or Electronics and Electrical Equipment industries
- Knowledge of IT Management practices (e.g. IT project management)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to establish rapport and persuade others
- Proven data analysis and reporting experience
- Master's in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills
