Java Software Engineer

What you will do:

  • Write clean and maintainable code.
  • Build new features, optimize the existing codebase and maintain the application.
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC process.
  • Implement the task/features as part of the SCRUM team.
  • Take part in: Planning, Retros, Daily’s and code reviews.
  • Ensure maximum speed and scalability of the product.
  • Perform unit testing and technical analyses to improve performance and availability.

 

What we require:

  • 3+ years of work experience as a Java Software Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in either: IT, Computer Science, Mathematics/ another related field or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to design software in a scalable and distributed environment.
  • Experience with the following technologies: Java EE, Ant, Maven and RESTful APIs/Web Services.
  • Experience with Angular, would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases such as: SQL, NoSQL or Oracle.
  • Experience with tools such as: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SVN and Jira
