Operational Buyer (Indirect Expenses)

As an Operational Buyer (Indirect Expenses) you would be responsible for the daily procurement of goods and services that support the organization’s operations, including machines, equipment, office supplies, and maintenance services. This role ensures that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with operational requirements. This position is on-site at our manufacturing site in z.k.Druzhba.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
Daily Procurement Operations:
- Manage the procurement process for indirect goods and services, focusing on machines and equipment needed for operations, maintenance supplies, and other operational necessities.
- Execute purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels of indirect supplies, equipment, and machinery, conducting regular audits to minimize shortages or overstock.
Supplier Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance on a regular basis and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with various departments, including maintenance, facilities management, and operations, to understand their daily procurement needs and ensure they are met promptly.
- Assist team members in identifying procurement needs and facilitate the requisition process to ensure smooth operations
Cost Control:
- Monitor and track spending on indirect expenses to ensure budget compliance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in daily procurement operations without compromising quality or service delivery.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including spending analysis, order fulfillment status, and inventory levels.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to procurement.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with a focus on indirect expenses, machinery, and equipment procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with procurement processes in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
- English Language – B2
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
