The Product Owner - Digital Workplace Experience is responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing the backlog of features and services that enhance the digital workplace for all end users within the dormakaba. This role is pivotal in ensuring the digital workplace is innovative, user-friendly, and effectively supports productivity. The individual collaborates with key stakeholders, including service owners for Windows, Apple, and Mobile devices, to deliver a seamless and integrated digital experience. Additionally, this role is leading the IT user community, facilitating engagement, feedback, and continuous improvement of the digital workplace environment. 

 

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

 

 

  • Strategic Development: Define the strategic vision for the digital workplace experience by identifying and prioritizing features that align with organizational goals and enhance user productivity.
  • Backlog Management: Own and manage the backlog for digital workplace features, ensuring that the most valuable and impactful features are developed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Coordination with Service Owners: Collaborate with service owners for Windows, Apple, and Mobile devices to ensure a cohesive digital experience across all platforms and devices.
  • End User Community Management: Lead the IT user community by organizing regular meetings, gathering feedback, conducting surveys, and facilitating discussions to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Pilot Launches and User Testing: Plan and execute pilot launches for new features, products, and services, including user testing, feedback collection, and iteration to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor the performance and usage of digital workplace features, analyze survey results, and use data-driven insights to inform future enhancements and improvements.

 

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, IT service management, or a related role within a digital workplace or IT environment.
  • Proven experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs and driving product strategy and delivery.
  • Strong track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading user communities, conducting surveys, and facilitating user engagement activities.
  • Hands-on experience with pilot launches, user testing, and feedback analysis.
  • Familiarity with managing and optimizing digital tools and services for Windows, Apple, and Mobile platforms.
  • University degree in the field of information and communication technologies or relevant
  • English proficiency (both written and spoken)
  • German language knowledge is a plus
  • Presentation skills
  • Positive attitude and good collaboration with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to multitask with speed, quality and consistency in a fast-changing environment
  • Advanced knowledge or training in digital workplace technologies, user experience design, or related domains is a plus.
  • Certifications: 
    • ITIL Foundation Certification or higher.
    • Professional certifications in Product Management, Project Management, Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
