The Purchasing Intern will assist with day-to-day purchasing activities, help maintain vendor relationships, and support the procurement team with essential administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and develop skills in procurement. 

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

  • Purchase Order Support: Assist in creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and tracking orders for timely delivery. 

  • Vendor Communication: Help communicate with suppliers for quotes and order follow-ups. Support in addressing any order-related issues. 

  • Data Entry and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier information, and other procurement documents. 

  • Basic Market Research: Conduct simple research to identify potential suppliers and compare pricing options. 

  • Administrative Assistance: Provide general support to the procurement team, including organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with report preparation. 

  • Inventory Coordination: Assist with tracking inventory levels and coordinating orders with warehouse and logistics teams. 

  • Process Learning: Learn and observe procurement processes and best practices to better understand supply chain management. 

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. 

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). 

  • Willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

  • An interest in procurement and supply chain management. 

  • English Language – B1/B2
