- 5+ years of experience in managing large technical teams (double digit headcount management would be preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in software development (ideally in on-prem and SaaS applications).
- Experienced in Agile development approaches such as SCRUM, KANBAN, ideally experience in scaled agile frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of SDLC processes.
- Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing Scrum teams.
- Competence in working within a virtual setup, managing multi-site teams, and navigating a matrix-organization.
- Self-driven with the capability to see tasks through to completion independently.
- Proactive and autonomous approach, with a knack for suggesting and implementing innovative ideas.
- Availability to travel as required.
- Excellent proficiency in English

- Assume disciplinary and functional responsibility for the dormakaba PD SSE software development teams in Sofia.
- Oversee the development, testing, and maintenance of assigned software components and applications within the dormakaba portfolio.
- Lead the ramp-up, formation, and development of scrum teams in close collaboration with Line Manager, peers, and local HR.
- Retain and develop our talents and attract new ones for dormakaba.
- Provide leadership on both technical and personal levels to enhance the skills and maturity of the teams, serving as a role model for dormakaba values and behaviors.
- Ensure cross-region and cross-team collaboration for applications and projects assigned to the teams.
- Manage and coordinate external suppliers and arrange required local infrastructure on-site.
- Take responsibility for budgeting, controlling, and planning for the assigned teams and expenses, aligning with the Line Manager. Contact for local finance for entity budget planning.
- Implement processes and ensure compliance with dormakaba guidelines.
- Participate in company initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Communicate with external 3rd party vendors, potentially managing relationships.
