As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, your main objective will be to design and develop innovative, efficient and market-driven mechatronic systems that increase productivity, reduce costs and ensure the company's technological edge.

A job that matters: your tasks
- Engineering and technical development: Design and development of mechatronic systems and components. This includes the creation of detailed manufacturing documents and specifications, the selection of suitable materials and technologies and the application of mechanical and electronic principles
- Prototyping and testing: Building prototypes and planning and conducting tests to verify the functionality and reliability of the designs. Analyzing test results and adapting designs to meet performance goals and compliance requirements
- Production-ready documentation: Preparing comprehensive production-ready documentation, including assemblies, related specifications and production requirements, test reports and assisting in the preparation of assembly and commissioning instructions
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Working closely with engineers from other disciplines as well as product managers, sales teams and customers to ensure that the solutions developed meet requirements and expectations
- Training and knowledge sharing: Commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge transfer within the team and the company
An experience that matters: your skills
- University degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in an industrial company
- Proven experience in working within virtual and distributed agile teams
- In-depth knowledge of CAD software (Solid Works) and common engineering tools
- Excellent English, German will be a plus
- Innovative spirit and ability to develop creative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Data-based problem solving skills: applying data-driven approaches to problem solving
- Deep understanding of the complexity of development processes for series products
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and standards in the industry
