The Lead Role provides leadership and guidance for the GCC steering team and ensures ultimate decision making in case of conflict or required involvement of management.

It ensures an effective management of a specific contract based on term of the Agreement, incl. responsibility for achieving the related sourcing objectives (contract management, financial, governance, service delivery, performance).

It ensures that the contract steering team is appropriately staffed and skilled, as well as all appropriate steering processes are implemented.   

 

A job that matters: your tasks:

 

  • Manage the overall relationship with the Provider for a large and specific outsourcing contract.
  • Lead the contract steering team for the Term of the Agreement and maintain over time as required.
  • Ensure the terms and conditions of the contract are satisfied (financial, governance, resources, performance, service integration, etc…).
  • Ensure appropriate steering (Provider & Performance Management) processes are in place and maintained as required over time.
  • Ensure appropriate communication and information flow within the contract steering team and towards other stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated issues in accordance with the Contract Steering (escalation procedures).
  • Ensure that the delivered services and service qualities meet the operational needs of the business over the term of the Agreement.
  • Develop and maintain a value management system for tracking the achievement of meeting the sourcing objectives
  • Approve/sign off on behalf of dormakaba for all contract related items requiring dormakaba approval.
  • Ensure Client approval/sign off for items exceeding this Lead Role’s authorities.
  • Establishes and manage the budget for the agreement from a finance perspective and is responsible for any financial matter of the agreement.
  • Manage any local (Bulgaria) matters related to staff.
  • Work hand in hand with other departments to ensure the right level of service (internal and external)
  • Budget ownership for all outsourcing contract related cost
  • Authority to give functional directions to all contract steering team members on all outsourcing contract related matters
  • Review and sign-off of Critical Deliverables
  • Review and approval of Contract Changes (even though all contract changes will be officially signed by Procurement)
  • Review and approval of non-standard service requests and (technical) project requests within the scope of the outsourcing agreement
  • Delegation of authorities to individual contract steering team members

 

An experience that matters: your skills

 

  • Previous experience in establishing Capability Center, outsourcing onshore / offshore,organization reshaping - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management.
  • International experience (Group / Regional function)  
  • Strategic and tactical thinking, but really hands-on at the same time
  • Management of Teams  
  • Fluency in English 
  • Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills. This blend is vital because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact 
  • IT or Business Background, Master Level (or respective experience with proven education along the way)  
  • Proven experience in managing IT operations and teams in a global context
  • Strong understanding of vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
