Senior System Test Engineer (manual)

As part of the Solution Quality Assurance Team you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining different test solutions in close collaboration with the dormakaba Software & Solution Engineering sites in Germany, Switzerland and Spain.

Your responsibilities would include requirement analysis, test design and test case creation and execution for dormakaba access control solutions on product, system and solution level.

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

 

  • You participate in all test activities on system level for our electronic access control solutions consisting of multiple hardware and software components
  • You set up and maintain complex test environments
  • You write functional and non-functional test cases, derived from use case scenarios and defined requirements
  • You analyse the system(s) under test to decide on optimal testing approach and test schedule
  • You document test results and analysis deviations from expected results
  • You take part in quarterly PI planning sessions to plan the tasks for the upcoming 3 months period

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

 

  • 4+ years of professional background in software testing
  • Experience with a structured test process supported by tools like Jira, Confluence, Zephyr
  • Team player, good interpersonal skills and autonomous
  • Experience in wiring up and handling of electrical devices
  • Fluent English
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Experienced in agile development methodologies like SCRUM, KANBAN or SAFe is a plus
  • Flexible for travelling
