- Install and configure access control systems (e.g., electronic locks, key card systems, and software) at customer lodging facilities.
- Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal configuration, functionality, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Coordinate with customers and teams to integrate access control solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the reliability and performance of access control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware or software, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Replace and repair faulty equipment or components while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding access control solutions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Educate customers on the functionality, proper use, and maintenance of lodging access control systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during installation or service calls, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service records, including installation details, maintenance logs, parts used, and any customer interactions.
- Prepare service reports for customers and internal stakeholders, outlining findings, completed work, and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on new product developments, features, and software updates for lodging access control solutions.
- Share expertise and provide training for colleagues, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Education: High school diploma with a technical specialty or equivalent. Additional certifications in electronics, IT, or related fields are an advantage.
- Proven experience in installing and servicing access control systems or related technologies is highly recommended.
- Experience working with lodging or hospitality-related systems is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical aptitude, particularly with access control hardware and software.
- Effective communication skills for customer interaction and technical explanations.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks independently while working collaboratively in a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel to for installations and service calls.
