Specialist Environmental Projects and Data Analyst

The Specialist Environment Projects and Data Analyst is responsible for providing environmental data management and data assurance, including monitoring of performance data against targets and monitoring and implementation of sustainability initiatives related to environmental stewardship.

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

• Building and managing internal and external KPI reporting and data assurance procedures and tools for environment and climate change data globally.
• Coordinating environmental data collection, executing quality checks and analysis, and supporting external assurance processes against environmental and greenhouse gas data from the asset to global level for over 100 locations for quarterly reporting deadlines throughout the year.
• Developing content for various reportings including the annual Sustainability Report, CDP Climate Change and CDP Water Security questionnaires.
• Providing data support to sustain and improve the company's sustainability and climate change reporting program, including the development and maintenance of monitoring tools and reports.
• Working across the full sustainability portfolio of environmental initiatives to support the local business in achieving the company's strategy and goals, for example by providing trainings, tools, executing global programs, feasibility studies and project development support related to water, waste and emission reduction targets.
• Provide training support for environment data providers globally on related tools and procedures.
• Participation in global, cross-function sustainability bodies to provide insights on sustainability progress against targets.
• Serve as subject matter expert to data assurance providers.

An experience that matters: Your Skills

• Around 4 years of relevant experience
• University degree degree related to environmental management is preferrable
• Advanced knowledge of carbon accounting procedures and standards, i.e. GHG Protocol
• Advanced knowledge of sustainability reporting standards including CDP and GRI
• Very good know-how of environmental reporting procedures and data visualization techniques
• Knowledge of and experience in environmental project management
• Fluent in English language
