Strategic Buyer Indirect Expenses

We have an opportunity for an experienced Strategic Buyer Indirect Expenses to join our Procurement team. This role will see you working on the procurement process of indirect goods and services such as machines, vehicles, IT, office consumables and telephone supplies, etc. The duties also involve developping local Procurement and Supplier Strategies for Indirect Procurement Categories in alignment with the Global and Regional Category Manager.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Direct the overall consulting process with departments in determining needs and developing specifications for goods and services
- Place and track purchase orders for materials, consumables and services needed for proper functioning of the company
- Control orders from execution to stock arrival and monitors shortages of purchased items
- Negotiate with suppliers on any commercial terms
- Negotiate budgets and strategiues with the company stakeholders
- Category Management for assigned Indirect Materials and Services in the countries assigned.
- Participate in RFQ process, Supplier performance evaluation for qualitative aspects and cost analysis, supplier price negotiations and cost savings initiatives
- Maintain business system integrity as pertaining to vendors and other purchasing records
- Ensure all relevant ERP parameters are accurate and promptly maintained including planning data, supplier data, purchase info records, source list etc.

An experience that matters: Your Skills
- At least 4 years of previous experience on a procurement role - any of the following areas would be considered: logistics, freight, estates, materials, production
- Excellent computer literacy
- Experience in strategic sourcing and execution of professional tenders
- Knowledge of SAP, Navision or any other material management module
- Experience in contract- and supplier relationship management
- Strong negotiation skills
- CAPEX experience
- Fluent in English. A second language is a big advantage
