dormakaba is looking for a Warehouse helper in our Novi Han location. The helper is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse.

 

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

 

  • Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and products within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Organize warehouse space and ensure proper storage of materials to maximize efficiency.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products according to established procedures.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

 

 

An experience that matters: Your Skills

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or production environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment. Valid forklift and pallet jack licneces.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count and record inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
