Do you currently work in stock control, supply chain, parts or logistics administration and are you looking for an exciting career opportunity, which will develop your skills and grow your experience

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our supply chain and purchasing team as a Purchasing Assistant in our manufacturing facility in Tiverton Devon.

 

A JOB THAT MATTERS: YOUR TASKS

This is a key role in our operation, controlling the way we hold and distribute technical parts within the organisation, making sure we have enough stock for all of our requirements, but not to overstock and hold more than we can use.

You will learn to analyse trends in our stock usage, so you will be able to plan and maintain stock levels as required. In order to ensure that we get what we need when we need it, you will need to develop great relationships with our suppliers as well as internal stakeholders so everything can be delivered on time and to the companies satisfaction.

The role will be based in Tiverton, Devon.

 

EXPIERENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS

To be considered you will need to demonstrate: 

  • Previous experience working within a busy office / supply chain environment.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Competent IT user with experience with Excel (competent). Experience in MRP / ERP systems would be beneficial. SAP experience would be of great interest
  • Opportunity for entry at Junior level for those considering career in Purchasing or possess transferable skills.
