Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a remote Installation Technical Support Technician based in the continental US. The Installation Technical Support technician is responsible for providing support to installers in identifying, analyzing and fixing “faults” of low to moderate complexity. In this role, they will serve as the first point of contact for our installers experiencing technical difficulties during the installation process.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Hourly Base Salary $23.00 - $28.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do

  • Support the manager in leading, coaching and developing the installation team
  • Answer technical inquiries received from external and internal installers and customers through telephone or emails during regular business hours
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, or network connectivity issues of low to moderate complexity
  • Add orders for installation part shortages & wrong parts shipped
  • Travel up to 10% or according to business needs

What we require

·       High school diploma or equivalent

·       1+ years of experience in customer service and technical support within a call center environment

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·       Strong English language proficiency for effective communication with diverse stakeholders
