POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Distribution Development Manager (DDM) - Sales based in Calgary, Alberta. The Distribution Development Manager is responsible for working with all dormakaba distributors and wholesalers within their Region and partnering (as applicable) with other regional DDMs within the same geographic region to maximize dormakaba presence, visibility and overall to drive sales.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Identifying project opportunities through distributors/wholesalers.
  • Collaborating with End User Consultants (EUCs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Business Development Managers to support sales growth.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current product and service offerings for regional market.
  • Assisting with pricing, bundling, and incentives to drive portfolio bundling.
  • Identifying competitor products and understanding their features and benefits.
  • Building and delivering custom presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects.

 

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • College Diploma / University Degree in a related technology, marketing or business field OR suitable field level application experience related to the dormakaba product portfolio
  • 5+ years supporting a sales team with application knowledge and Subject Matter Expert expertise
  • 10+ years in B2B Sales and/or B2B Sales Support
  • Customer Service/Support acumen and experience
  • Must be able to travel 50-75%

  • Knowledge of commercial hardware & access control industry desired
