POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a .NET Software Developer (Inter) to join our team. The .NET Software Developer will participate in full-stack SDLC of web and desktop applications for access control and safe locking systems, for both existing and future-generation product lines.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Execute specified user stories and tasks as mandated by the team lead.
  • Assist in creating unit and automated tests.
  • Help analyze and triage reported issues.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • University or College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum academic experience in software design and development ideally in one or more of the following technologies, practices and environments:
    • C#, .Net
    • Desktop development using WPF
    • Web development using ASP.Net MVC, HTML, and JavaScript.
    • Practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework.
  • Understanding of a multi-tiered architecture.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum process and applied software development best practices.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification and background check
  • Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization
