Have you estimating experience within the fabrication, window, door, facades, shop-fitting or similar industries?

 

Do you want to be part of a global organisation suppling a range of products and solutions to the construction industry?

 

We are looking for an ESTIMATOR to join the team based at Willenhall, West Midlands.

 

A JOB THAT MATTERS: YOUR TASKS

 

Our Estimators take information from a range of stakeholders, either internal or external and translate this into quotations to be sent to our customers. Information can come in many forms, from basic notes from an engineer to architectural or construction drawings.

 

This role is a key area of our organisation. Estimators create quotes for basic repairs on a single product to a number of installations for a large-scale retail or public sector customer. These quotations account for many thousands of pounds worth of income for the business. Therefore, we need someone who is responsible, commercially astute, dependable and has excellent attention to detail and who is happy to work to targets.

 

We need someone who is proactive, who can follow up customers on the quotations submitted, who can keep up to date with costs from external suppliers, collaborate and build relationships with the sales team and our clients, and who can be a “keystone” in our organisation  

 

This opportunity will give the successful candidate fantastic exposure to the dormakaba organisation in the UK and could lead on to some great career opportunities within the business.

 

 

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS

 

  • We need 2 years + estimation experience in one of the industries above or something similar
  • You need to have a high degree of numeracy, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with colleagues.
  • You will need excellent IT skills in MS office as well as good administration skills. Any exposure to CRM systems such as Salesforce would be a real advantage.
