A job that matters: Your Tasks
As a project support administrator, you will be working closely with the project managers in all areas of the project’s life cycle, From estimation and design stages through to construction, delivery, and invoicing.
This is an exciting, challenging, and fast paced role which will require you to solve problems and make decisions, to ensure that the team around you have everything they need to ensure a project is delivered on time, to plan and in budget.
Duties include but not limited to
- Collaborating with the Project Managers to provide prompt updates to customers on project delivery
- Receiving and processing orders efficiently
- Finance and customer account credit checks
- Supporting the initiation to production and fabrication, to build systems
- Reading and checking Cad drawings
- Ordering Glass and Metal as per specification requirements
- Arranging transport for the delivery of materials and equipment to site, ensuring they are both on time and meets requirements
- Schedule engineers for work and update the work planner
- Tracking and raising Application for payments in accordance with the contract date’s
- Forecasting and tracking orders and revenues to management
- Configuring parts to create BOM’s
- Delivery Tracking both inbound and outbound
- Carry out invoicing and supply O&M manuals on completion, whilst ensuring systems are always kept up to date
- Loading engineer commissioning documents into the system to activate the warranty
- Hold team’s meetings to discuss and resolve any issues
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- Excellent administration skills with 1-2 years commercial experience ideally from within the construction, engineering or manufacturing industries
- Previous knowledge / experience of project administration in some form
- Demonstrate the ability to plan to a schedule and work to tight and potentially flexible deadlines
- Confident with MS Office suite products and the ability to learn other IT based systems (experience with SAP, Salesforce or CAD knowledge is a distinct advantage)
- Strong ability to use all forms of electronic communication (Phone, Email, MS Teams)
- Provide excellent customer service, with the clear ability to deal with (and potentially influence) internal and external stakeholders in a confident manner and deliver on expectations
- Ability to read construction or CAD drawings is highly advantageous
