Position Overview
We are currently seeking an AI Manager to join our team in Sofia to lead and shape dormakaba’s global AI portfolio. In this position, you will drive the delivery, prioritisation, and value realisation of high-impact AI initiatives across the organisation. You will play a critical role in ensuring AI investments translate into measurable business outcomes, with clear accountability for tracking and maximising value, while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and AI champions worldwide.
What you will do
- Lead the shaping, prioritisation, and governance of the global AI portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, from scoping and MVP definition to production and adoption.
- Own and actively manage value realisation across the AI portfolio, tracking performance against business case commitments.
- Establish transparency on value delivery, identifying gaps early and driving corrective actions to protect expected outcomes.
- Manage dependencies across AI initiatives, platform roadmaps, and major transformation programmes.
- Partner with AI champions and business stakeholders to accelerate delivery and remove roadblocks.
- Oversee the investment lifecycle, including business case validation, approvals, and ongoing value tracking and accountability.
- Establish and continuously improve portfolio standards, tools, and reporting to enable effective prioritisation and transparency.
- Provide decision-ready insights to senior leadership, including AI Board and Group Executive Committee with clear visibility on value realised vs. ommitted.
What we require
- 10+ years of experience in programme or portfolio leadership roles with a strong focus on end-to-end delivery accountability.
- Proven track record of delivering digital, data, and AI initiatives in complex, global organisations.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, generative AI, and data platforms.
- Solid experience in tracking value realisation, managing business cases, and ensuring benefits delivery post-implementation.
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and influence senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English.
- University degree in Business, Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
