Position Overview
Are you an experienced project leader who can bring structure to complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and confidently engage with senior executives?
dormakaba is looking for an experienced IT Program / Project Manager to lead strategic SAP and business application initiatives. In this role, you will combine strong project management expertise with leadership, independence, and sound business judgement. You will provide a professional, reliable project management service from initial planning through successful delivery.
What you will do
- Lead complex global IT programs and projects involving SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM and other business applications
- Translate strategic objectives into clear plans, priorities, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Simplify complex topics and present them clearly to project teams, business stakeholders, and senior executives
- Build alignment across business functions, IT teams, vendors, and leadership
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and governance
- Provide transparent reporting and decision-ready recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Work independently, take ownership, and proactively resolve challenges
- Lead project teams with clarity, confidence, and accountability
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, delivery methods, and overall project performance
- Ensure a consistent and professional project management experience for all stakeholders
What we require
- Strong experience managing global complex SAP and business application projects or programs
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including regular exposure to senior executives
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority
- A structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach
- The ability to streamline complexity and create clarity in demanding environments
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively across global teams
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A recognized project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or an equivalent qualification
- Professional proficiency in Italian and EnglishWillingness to travel approximately 25 percent of the time
