Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Laser Operator based in Reamstown, PA. The Laser Operator is responsible for operating the laser machine. This role also supports the production team by operating machinery, bending, and punching metal products. This is a technical role with machine operation focus.
The base pay range for this position is $23/hr. – 28/hr. Mandatory overtime as needed.
What you will do
- Operate the laser machine and other machinery used in the production process
- Assist other machine operators in running various machines if needed
- Perform basic equipment setup and inspections using precision measuring and gauging equipment
- Document and perform all job/routing procedures as directed
- Utilize working knowledge about shield gases while operating the laser cutting machine
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities of the role
What we require
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years manufacturing experience
- 2+ years machine operating experience
- Ability to effectively read, write, speak, and understand English in order to perform the essential functions of the role
- Must be able to read a tape measure/scale to the 1/32nd

- Experience with various measuring tools (Ex: tape measurer, calipers protractors)
