Position Overview
The Lead Planner will oversee and optimise maintenance planning by managing routes, resources and task scheduling to ensure efficient service delivery. The role will also lead, support and coach Service Schedulers, working collaboratively across the business to ensure a consistent and effective approach.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain monthly maintenance routes to ensure efficient task completion and meet customer expectations using ServiceMax.
- Review and improve routes and planning each month to reduce travel time and fuel costs, and improve utilisation and margins.
- Lead, coach and support Service Schedulers through regular performance reviews, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Service Schedulers have the required personnel and contractors allocated for maintenance activities by the start of each month.
- Work with relevant departments to align maintenance plans with overall dormakaba business objectives.
- Manage reporting, KPIs and dashboards to monitor schedule compliance, resource utilisation and work order completion.
- Identify and escalate gaps or non-compliance to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide senior management with insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
- Identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
What we require
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Lead Planner, or within a similar position within a service related industry.
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- High standards of precision and accuracy of work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience working with a CRM / Service Planning would be advantageous.
- Industry specific experience or similar.
