Position Overview

 

dormakaba is seeking a National Account Representative based in Lexington, KY (hybrid) or remotely within the U.S. The National Account Representative delivers value through proactive, consultative account management by understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate dormakaba Safe Locks products and solutions, supporting contract administration and RFP responses, and providing technical training to channel partners to drive the adoption of dormakaba's innovative product portfolio while fostering long-term customer relationships and business growth.

 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $55,000 - $75,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do

  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customer accounts by providing exceptional support, identifying new business opportunities, increasing share of wallet, and ensuring contractual commitments are met throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customers and channel partners through a consultative approach, leveraging in-depth product knowledge to recommend value-driven solutions and support product adoption
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Client Support, to deliver seamless customer experience, resolve issues, and execute strategic account initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities, develop account strategies, and contribute to achieving sales and revenue objectives
  • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunity updates, sales forecasts, and activity reports within the CRM system while representing the organization's core values and business principles. Travel up to 50% as needed to support customer visits, training, internal meetings, and business development activities

 

What we require

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related customer-facing role, with a proven ability to build and grow client relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, opportunities, and sales activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, channel partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to support customer visits, business development, training, and internal meetings

 

What we prefer

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing, ATMs, financial institutions, armored transportation, or other related industries
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
