Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6:00AM-2:30PM) Machinist II-CNC based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II-CNC is responsible for performing machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $23hr - $30/hr and mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). What you will do
- Follow operation instructions; operate machine according to standard operating instructions
- Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP).
- Using micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparator
What we require
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extensive experience operating, setups, tool changes, etc.
- Understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Ability to perform advanced quality inspections.
- Professional communication skills.
