Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Production Team Lead based onsite in Reamstown, PA. The Production Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities of fabrication employees to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals are achieved. This position serves as the first-line leader on the shop floor, providing direction, training, and support to fabrication team members while promoting continuous improvement and adherence to company policies and manufacturing standards.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $24/hr. - $28/hr. Overtime may be mandatory as needed. (Base pay to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). What you will do

• Lead and coordinate daily fabrication operations, including machine operators, CNC machinists, assemblers, and other production personnel
• Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor performance to ensure production, safety, quality, and delivery objective are achieved
• Troubleshoot operational issues, drive problem resolutions, and appropriately escalate complex concerns to maintain productivity and minimize downtime
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, recommend process improvements, and support initiatives to enhance efficiency, equipment performance, and product quality
• Conduct quality audits and support the training and development of team members to ensure compliance with operational and quality standards

What we require

• High school diploma and/ or GED certification
• 3+ years of previous team leadership experience (team of 4 or more)
• Experience in relevant field or equivalent combination of training and/or experience
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
