Position Overview

At dormakaba, we are transforming how technology enables our business worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Global Program PMO Lead to establish the governance, methodology, and operating rhythm behind a complex, multi-year transformation.

This is not a traditional PMO administration role. You will create clarity, drive accountability, and orchestrate delivery across business units, functions, regions, workstreams, and external partners.

Your Impact

You will lead the Program Management Office and provide the structure needed to turn strategy into results. From integrated planning and executive governance to risk, resources, budgets, and dependencies, you will keep the transformation aligned, transparent, and moving forward. 

 

What you will do

  • Establish and lead the PMO for a global SAP transformation.
  • Define the program operating model, governance, methodology, standards, and tools.
  • Maintain an integrated roadmap across scope, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Orchestrate delivery across more than 100 matrixed resources, multiple regions, and external partners.
  • Lead Steering Committees, Program Boards, and executive reporting.
  • Create transparency, accelerate decisions, and ensure clear accountability.
  • Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.
  • Drive resource and capacity planning across workstreams.
  • Hold system integrators and service providers accountable for quality, commitments, and outcomes.
  • Support business readiness, handover, hypercare, and successful program closure.
  • Coach project managers and strengthen PMO / program management capabilities across Global IT. 

 

What we require

  • At least 7 years of program and project management experience, including 3 years leading a strategic PMO function within a global IT / Transformation programs.
  • A proven track record in large-scale SAP, ERP, or enterprise transformation.
  • Strong expertise in governance, integrated planning, financial oversight, resource management, risk, and change control.
  • Experience leading complex, international, and matrixed delivery organisations.
  • Confidence working with C-level sponsors and senior executives.
  • Experience managing system integrators, consultancies, and other delivery partners.
  • Clear communication, sound judgement, and a pragmatic leadership style.
  • A bachelor or master’s degree in IT or Business Administrations.
  • Business fluency in English.
