Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Production Scheduler based in Reamstown, PA. The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining a short-term production schedule that supports customer demand, supply plans, and manufacturing efficiency. This role works closely with cross-functional partners in Production, Procurement, Customer Service, and Supply Planning to ensure schedule accuracy, constraint resolution, and communication throughout the production order lifecycle.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $70,000 - $80,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain a short-term production schedule that balances customer demand, planned supply, and operational efficiency
- Lead weekly production scheduling review meetings to ensure alignment across Production, Procurement, and Customer Service teams
- Contribute to resolution of supply chain issues, consistently communicating on any unresolved issues with the appropriate stakeholders for action
- Sequence production orders to support efficient manufacturing flow and minimize changeovers and downtime, to include development of Replenishment Strategies (Push/Pull/Flow)
What we require
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, working knowledge of scheduling and order management
What we prefer
- Experience with AS400
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, or a related field
- CPIM and/or CSCP certifications
- Previous SAP experience/ implementation
