We are looking for a Service Technician who will lend their mechanical/technical expertise to our commercial, retail, institutional and industrial customers. This position represents a great opportunity to combine your customer service and technical skills.
Position Overview
We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded with a solid understanding of basic electrical safety principles. This role would suit a self-starter who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently.
No two days are the same, with responsibilities including preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding, and some major works across automatic, swing, and revolving doors. You will also support other Dormakaba products, including installation work for both new construction and existing sites.
What we require
- A valid drivers license
- Strong fault-finding skills with an electrical or mechanical background
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
