We are seeking a creative and organised Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis to provide maternity cover within our dynamic marketing team.
Marketing Communications Specialist (Temporary)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Adapt and schedule global social media content for local LinkedIn and Facebook platforms
- Manage general enquiry email inbox and ensure timely responses
- Handle Facebook enquiries and route them to the appropriate sales personnel
- Coordinate and manage projects with external vendors and agencies, including:
- Social media agency coordination
- Liaising between Product Marketing Managers and design agencies on brochures, factsheets, and marketing collateral while ensuring compliance with branding guidelines
- Coordinating regional and local corporate gift order quantities
- Reviewing and making minor artwork adjustments for renovation-related materials such as posters and backdrops
- Prepare and report monthly Customer Experience Centre visitor statistics
- Assist in organizing seminars, meetings, conferences, trade shows, and marketing events
- Update product listings on the regional website for product launches and go-live activities
- Prepare event write-ups for internal communication platforms
- Support external social media postings for events and marketing activities
- Attend to ad hoc marketing and administrative requests as assigned
Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Prior experience in a similar marketing communications or coordination role would be advantageous
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with Canva and social media platforms
- Good organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
