We are seeking a PIM / Product Data Architect (Product Owner) with strong technical and data transformation understanding who will take ownership of our global Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, while also acting as Product Owner for these solutions.This role has a strong focus on driving the technical aspects of product data, including data transformation, integration, and system flows across PIM, SAP, and downstream platforms.Your work will be essential in ensuring consistent, high‑quality product content that powers ecommerce, marketing, customer‑facing tools, and internal systems worldwide.You will operate at the intersection of business, data, and IT, working in an international, cross‑functional environment and collaborating closely with business teams, IT, enterprise architects, and external partners 

 

A JOB THAT MATTERS: Your Tasks

 

  • Drive the PIM & DAM product vision, roadmap, and backlog together with the business owner.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of product data flows, including data transformation, enrichment, and synchronization across PIM, SAP (Material Master), and downstream systems.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data models and technical solutions, ensuring efficient data processing and transformation.
  • Maintain and evolve global product data models, taxonomies, attributes, and governance standards.
  • Design and optimize PIM/DAM data processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across all systems and regions.
  • Oversee system implementation, configuration, and continuous improvements of PIM and DAM platforms.
  • Act as the central solution owner for PIM, bridging business requirements with technical implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP/ERP teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP Material Master and related product data processes.
  • Ensure timely, high‑quality product data enrichment for websites, catalogs, configurators, ecommerce, and internal platforms.
  • Design, coordinate and implement system integrations (APIs, Webservices, ETL pipelines) together with middleware and architecture teams.
  • Act as the central bridge between business, IT, and data teams, ensuring alignment on data structures, flows, and system interactions.
  • Drive acceptance testing, documentation, feature rollouts, and user adoption.
  • Manage external partners and ensure smooth 2nd / 3rd level support processes.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and data standards.
  • Support troubleshooting of data flows, integrations, and transformation logic across systems. 

 

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: Your Skills

 

What We Require:

  • Proven hands‑on experience with PIM platforms (e.g. SAP Hybris PCM, Akeneo, Stibo, or similar), ideally in implementation or technical ownership roles.
  • Strong understanding of product data structures, attribute modelling, taxonomy design, and data governance principles.
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP Material Master data and its integration with other systems.
  • Strong understanding of data transformation concepts (ETL processes, data mapping, data pipelines).
  • Experience designing and working with integrations (APIs, JSON/XML, Webservices, ETL).
  • Experience with global rollout or multi-country implementations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid project coordination experience in cross-functional teams.
  • University degree in IT or a related field.
  • Fluency in English. 

 

What We Desire:

  • Experience in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe).
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Knowledge of how product data is consumed in ecommerce platforms, CMS, or marketing automation tools.
  • Experience working in data-driven or integration-heavy environments (e.g. MDM, data platforms, analytics, or data engineering contexts).
  • Product Owner or Agile certifications.
