Position Overview
The Solution Architect SAP Security & Authorization will design, implement, and maintain user roles and authorizations across all SAP systems. He will ensure compliance with governance and security standards, manage user access, and support audit requirements while enabling smooth business operations.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain user roles and authorizations in SAP (ECC, S/4).
- Perform user administration and access management across SAP systems.
- Support rollout projects and strategic programs with SAP Security related expertise.
- Conduct regular security audits, role reviews, and segregation of duties (SoD) checks.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand security needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain SAP security documentation and procedures.
- Provide training and support to key users, internal and external teams on security best practices.
- Being part of the Global Application Support organization, using established governance and service management processes and tools.
What we require
- University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorization design, administration, and support.
- Strong expertise in SAP roles, authorization concepts, and user access management.
- Good understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation practices.
- Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager ChaRM and service management processes and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- SAP Security certification(s) are considered an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a strong advantage.
