Position Overview

 

dormakaba is seeking a (remote) Solution Consultant based in either the U.S. Midwest or East Coast regions. The Solution Consultant, also known as a pre-sales consultant or sales engineer, plays a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise and guidance to potential customers, delivering product demonstrations, assisting with customer requests, and documenting customer requirements as required.

 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $91,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) plus, a generous Sales Incentive Plan. What you will do

  • Deliver compelling software demonstrations that instill trust and underscore the value of our solutions
  • Articulate technical and functional elements of our solutions at an executive level
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to meet or exceed assigned quotas
  • Document and maintain records of customer interactions and requirements, collaborate with the Solution Strategist to draft the project’s statement of work

 

What we require

  • 3+ years in ERP or HCM, or Time & Attendance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Communications, or other applicable field of study, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstratable technical background in Cloud, Operating Systems and Networking
  • Proven experience presenting to groups of various sizes in person and remote
  • Reside in Eastern or Central U.S. Time Zones, with the ability to travel (including air travel) 10% of the time

What we prefer

  • System Administrative experience with B-Comm application or similar solutions
  • Direct HRIS experience on the vendor or customer end
  • Experience working with technical and functional Requests for Proposal (RFP) and INFOSEC documentation
