Position Overview
Are you ready to gain hands-on experience in a truly global IT environment while still studying?
As a Working Student in our IT Financial Management team within Global IT, you will support financial management processes for more than 200 IT services and projects. You will play a key role in ensuring cost transparency, reliable financial data, and smooth operational processes—while learning how a global IT organization operates behind the scenes.
This role is perfect for students who enjoy analyzing data, working with systems, learning new things, and supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic international environment.
This is a temporary, part-time position (20 hours per week), offering you the chance to gain valuable experience in a global IT environment.
What you will do
- IT Financial Management Support
- Support forecasting, tracking, and reporting of costs across 200+ IT services and projects.
- Assist with monthly financial activities such as actuals checks, variance analysis, and report preparation.
- Maintain and improve financial data quality in our IT financial management system.
- Data Quality & System Operations
- Collect, validate and consolidate financial and project-related data from various stakeholders.
- Identify inconsistencies and support continuous improvement initiatives in IT financial management processes.
- Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with IT Financial Management, Finance & Controlling, IT teams, service owners, and project managers.
- Conduct small training or knowledge-sharing sessions for colleagues.
- Help gather requirements and feedback to improve our processes and tools.
What we require
You’re a great match for this role if you:
- Are currently enrolled in a degree program in Business & IT, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Are motivated to deepen your understanding of IT financial management and global IT operations.
- Grasp new topics quickly and work in a structured, reliable, and proactive manner.
- Have a strong affinity for IT systems and data.
- Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
- Are a good communicator with very good English skills.
- Feel comfortable using Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Are available to work up to 20 hours per week alongside your studies.
